It's official now. We love coffee so much that there is now a dedicated 'coffee roasters' session on the blog's 'eateries by type' tab.
And what better than Industry Beans as our first coffee aficionado review?
Industry Beans are specialty roasters 'working hard to reimagine coffee as a more sensual, pleasurable experience'.
The cafe is right next to the roasters and you can smell the coffee aroma as you walk through the door.
Hubby was impressed with Industry Beans' single origin double ristretto.
Beetroot, celery, apple and ginger freshly squeezed juice |
Industry Beans also make freshly squeezed juices and our little ones were quick to finish their beetroot, celery, apple and ginger bottle.
We ordered a few things to share, starting with the avocado smash with charred lemon, goats cheese and tea sea salt.
Avocado smash ($15) |
Raspberry and almond muffin |
Polenta chips ($7) |
I like the menu at Industry Beans. It's basically a revisited version of the traditional brunch menu with influences from different cuisines, like Thai's green papaya eggs and fried Creole chicken burger.
Although quite varied, the small menu doesn't feel scattered and works well.
We enjoyed the food AND the coffee and would happily come back for more.
