Is there a better way to end the night than with a chocolate dessert? I don't think so, specially if the dessert is San Churro's chocolate!

I simply love this place; they make awesome thick hot chocolate. The chili hot chocolate is particularly good. Since we were having dinner near by, we swapped our normal end-of-meal espresso for something a bit more consistent... uhmm, lets say... huge San Churros banana dessert and big mug of hot chocolate - we only had a very light dinner... :)

My friend ordered the banana waffle: sliced fresh banana sandwiched between two waffle biscuits and topped with vanilla ice-cream, chocolate sauce and dulce de leche (cooked condensed milk). It is a bit awkward to eat; the waffle is quite thick and hard to cut through and we kind of made a mess trying to break it with the spoon. But the taste was great - pure sweetness overdose.

I chose the traditional Spanish hot chocolate. It was served steaming hot and was so creamy and thick. It's also not too sweet, which I like.

San Churro has become a franchise with shops all over Australia. Their desserts are not overly sophisticated, but they do taste great. The real winner for me their hot chocolate - I love grabbing a take away cut when I need lots of energy for the day.
