LOVE AND DYSFUNCTION

103 Grey St, St Kilda - (03) 9077 0421
www.loveanddysfunction.com

Tucked away at the quite end of Grey St, Love&Dysfunction is a new addition to St Kilda's bar scene.

Champagne cocktail
It looked like a pretty small venue as I walked in, but there are actually a few separate indoor and outdoor spaces to sit down and enjoy one of London-born Reg Ridealgh's vintage cocktails.

The food menu comprises lots of small dishes to nibble on and the food draws on a range of influences; from French-inspired terrines and pates to the salty nibbles of Tokyo's izakayas.

Drinks are craftily created to match the food (at least that's how I see it as a foodie) and include an array of cocktails, special beers and local wines.

Reg does an amazing job in pairing booze with food and we had a great time sampling the menu.

Here are some of our favourites:

Takoyaki balls with Japanese mayo

Little Takoyaki morsels of heaven - vibrant combination of flavours with bonito flakes and a hint of ginger. Fantastic food perfectly matched with 2 Brothers Kung Fu rice beer.

Gruyere and jamon croquettes

The croquettes were also fantastic. Perfectly cooked and not at all greasy, they just melted in the mouth.

Charcuterie board

Great food, great drinks & great company. Love&Dysfunction ticks all the boxes of a new St Kilda favourite.

PS. Thanks Love&Dysfunction and ARK Marketing for hosting us!
