URBAN BURGER

8 Armstrong St, Middle Park - ph: 9682 0010

I'm not a huge fan of food stalls at large events. During the Grand Prix in Melbourne last week, most of the stalls were selling either deep fried food, sausages or greasy meat pies.

So I decided to walk outside Albert Park onto Middle Park's shopping strip.

Urban Burger was actually a pretty good surprise for a burger chain. The meat was juicy and tender, wholegrain bread was fluffy and fresh, chips were crispy.

Burger - beef, salad, relish and aioli ($7.90)

I was very happily surprised at how good this burger tasted; would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

  1. Good idea to go hunting for non-mass-produced food! If you don't go too greasy for your lunch at such things, you can save room/grease allowances for afternoon tea ;)
